Each of the categories entries or third-party nominations will be judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders and experts. The judging is a rigorous process which takes place in a judging meeting where all entries are discussed and evaluated in great detail. The judges will then determine if each of the entries for each category entered are in order and completed correctly with as much information that will enabling them to select the winner and runners-up for each of the categories. The judge’s decisions and selections are final.

Amanda Menaham

After reading Psychology at the University of Sussex, Amanda started her career at Harrods in London as a Management Trainee before professing to various managerial roles leading large teams. Amanda then went on to became a management trainer at Harrods before moving on to forge a career in HR. Amanda has held a variety of senior HR positions in different industries, most notably as HR Director at Hastings direct. In her seven years at Hastings Amanda was part of an executive team that achieved a business turnaround and led the business through to public flotation. Amanda has always had a passion for talent and excellence winning several HR industry awards during her tenure. More recently Amanda has become self-employed and is involved in a variety of entrepreneurial ventures. Amanda is board member of Coast to Capital local Enterprise partnership and also sits on the Greater Brighton and Hove Economic Board. And has recently opened a new restaurant called Pascere located at 8 Duke St, Brighton.

Bruce Hayter

Bruce is Managing Partner of Rix & Kay and is a highly experienced Corporate and Commercial lawyer with a track record of advising clients on major M&A transactions. His reputation of helping businesses to grow comes from his detailed business acumen and approach to problem solving, along with his ability to explain complex issues in a straightforward way.

Graham Prince

Graham Prince left school in 1984 and worked for NatWest Bank in their Knightsbridge Branch and then in the Mayfair and Piccadilly Mid-Corporate Banking Office based in Albemarle Street opposite The Ritz in London. Having received an excellent background into Finance Graham left NatWest to form Neva Consultants in April 1992 initially as a PLC but converting to a LLP in April 2006. The business started in Lewes but following a move to the Bellbrook Industrial Estate in Uckfield the Company purchased their own freehold premises in Piltdown in 1999 which gave them the room to grow and from where they continue to trade today. Neva Consultants are an independent vehicle sourcing and funding specialist for Business and Personal Users. Neva are focused on the values of Personal Responsibility, Respect, Integrity, Manifesting Knowledge and Exceeding Expectations.

Alison Jones

Alison is a partner at Kreston Reeves and is based in the Brighton Office.  She advises a number of clients ranging from start-up businesses and owner managed businesses to multinational groups of companies helping them to make confident decisions about their future.  A role model to women in business, Alison offers a broad range of accounting, tax, and digital business advisory services across the full spectrum of clients’ business and personal affairs. Using Xero is another passion together with her children, pigs, husband and photography.
